1.1. Before lessons or the speaking club begin, a trial consultation of up to 30 minutes is held if needed. During it you get to know the teacher, your level and difficulties are assessed, recommendations on learning German are given, and a study plan is drawn up.
2.1. Classes are held according to CET (Central European Time) - Berlin time.
2.2. Classes are held online via Google Meet.
2.3. Group classes (if needed) are recorded and stored in a private YouTube account.
3.1. Classes are held in mini-groups of 4-6 people, in pairs, or individually.
3.2. For group classes, joining an existing group is possible if there are free spots and the students have roughly the same level.
4.1. An individual lesson lasts 60 minutes.
4.2. A speaking club meeting lasts 60 minutes.
4.3. A group lesson lasts 80 minutes.
4.4. An individual consultation lasts 60 or 90 minutes.
5.1. Lesson prices are listed on the school website dkk-online.com under the Services section.
5.2. Payment is made in euros to a European (Spanish) bank account.
5.3. The money transfer fee is covered by the student.
5.4. Payment is made before lessons begin.
5.5. Amounts paid for individual lessons or the speaking club can be refunded at the request of the student no later than the 2nd lesson from the start of the subscription, minus the lessons already held and payment system fees.
5.6. Once the group has confirmed the schedule, the cost of the course is not refunded; however, individual lessons within the group can be rescheduled under the terms of clause 6.1.
6.1. Individual, group, and paired lessons, consultations, and the speaking club can be rescheduled and cancelled within the paid subscription. All rescheduling and cancellations must be arranged in advance, no later than 24 hours (!) before the lesson starts. If a student cancels less than 24 hours before the lesson, it counts as held.
6.2. If a student misses a lesson without notice, it counts as held.
6.3. If a student is late, the lesson proceeds as scheduled and ends at the scheduled time.
7.1. All materials are provided to students electronically. Nothing additional needs to be purchased.
7.2. Students need a computer, access to high-speed internet, headphones, and a microphone - or, with good audio quality, no microphone.
